While I have not tutored any subject for pay, I have worked with many younger friends and siblings on school work and athletics. I am a very visual and hands-on learner and I think that a lot of understanding materials comes from being taught through different perspectives and methods which is why I want to be an additional teacher for a student. I have been a straight A student since elementary school and have a strong work ethic in everything I do. I took five AP classes and received college credit for Calculus, Biology, US History, German, and English Literature, so I am well-rounded in all areas of core studies. I also scored a 30 on the ACT and won the American Association of Teachers of German Gold Award. I am also involved in a volunteer mentoring program at Kankakee Junior High School.
